Hello,

I am trying to do just as the question says and rotate the parent and children of a game object without children's position changing. Note this only seems to be a problem on objects that are moving via a separate FSM. Thanks!

And I have a lot of children on that game object, so I would not want to disable movement of all the children one by one.

Hi.
I am not sure what you mean,
but maybe you can set a child in the main parent and set the children inside that main child an set the rotation to a fixed world) rotation
or have it separate from the parent and use Get/Set position to get the parent position and set the main child position.

To address this, you might need to adjust the way the transformations are applied within the FSM or consider using local coordinate systems to control rotations while preserving child positions.Whether you're facing  with research papers, essays, or any other academic tasks, the best USA essay writing services can be your trusted partners in achieving academic success.
