Accessing Shader Graph Floats in a Custom Pass Volume?

Hi all, I'm having trouble accessing the Shader Graph (Material) Floats for a Fullscreen material in the Custom Pass Volume.

I tried using the Set Material Float however it wants me to add the Render Component as per a regular object material setup. I don't need to add the component as the pass is setup correctly as is.

Any tips on how I might access the Floats for this custom pass shader? Thanks!!
