Playmaker + Photon disconnected on iOS build
« on: December 03, 2013, 03:18:10 AM »
hi,

I'm using integrated Photon in Playmaker. I did set everything up correctly and I'm also able to RUN/Connect to Photon well in MacOS builds.

However, In my iOS build, after connected successful to Photon then the Connection status is immediately changed to stage "Failed to Connect To Photon".

I'm I missing something??? Please help

I'm using Unity Pro 4.2.0 + Latest Playmaker + MACOSX 10.8.5 + iPhone 5S iOS7

thank you much,

xunxun

oh, this is the answer:

>> Note: Due to a restriction of the Unity free license, you can export to most Unity platforms, but in order to get your game running on an iOS or Android device you need Photon Unity Networking (PUN) PLUS. <<

95$ -- @_@

But.. does playmaker work with PUN+ and HOW ???

Hi,

yes, PUN+ works and it won' change anything in your implementation, PUN+ only replace internal code within PUN, that's all, it's all going to behave identically.

Now, PUN+ is using a new version of PUN which only going to be available to PlayMaker on the next release ( coming soon)

bye,
