1.2 - editor takes forever to come up now?
« on: September 15, 2011, 06:00:48 PM »
in 1.1, the editor window would come up very snappily when i edited it.
Now it takes a really long time to come up.  maybe 30 sec to a minute.

Is there a solution to this?  can i turn off something in the preferences to make it faster?

this is on snow leopard / mac os x 10.6.7

thanks

In Preferences, turn off Auto Load All Prefabs in Project.

I assume you have a large project with a lot of prefabs?

The reason to Auto Load prefabs is to make global changes easier - right now the Playmaker editor only acts on loaded PlayMakerFSMs. I'm looking into optimizing the auto load in a future update.

With Auto Load turned off, PlayMakerFSMs are loaded as you click on the prefabs (the default Unity behavior).

Let me know if that works, or if there's another issue...
