select one object at a time only help

sounds simple enough but i think ive just had a memory blank, all i want to do is to select one object at a time.
so say i have 5 text objects on the screen when i touch one text object it turns red if i touch another then that text turns red and the other goes back to normal

Solved it myself trying every which way possible,then stumbled upon Ngui OnSelect ,it selects only one object on the scene,if you have 50 buttons and click on all of them it will only activate the one you have clicked, only took 2 days to work that out good god almighty i need a beer .
