PlaymakerNACL
« on: November 09, 2015, 03:28:47 PM »
Hi,

I've done some research in attempting to find the PlaymakerNACL package that comes with the current version of playmaker. I would like to build my game on HTML5.

I can't seem to find it in my current version or on the ecosystem.

Am I looking in the wrong area?

Thanks.

Edit: from looking around, I don't seem to have  playmaker-version folder. How do I get this?

Edit 2: Found the folder finally.  Now I'm getting "Plugins colliding with eachother" when attempting to build and run html5 build.

Edit 3: Ok, so we deleted and reimported playmaker... and not none of my particle systems, camera actions, or animations (utilizing set property -> sprite) are working.... Yikes.   This is a headache.

Hi,

Do you have any errors in the Unity Console?

 Bye,

Yes, lots.  And I'm not the most code-savvy, so sifting through it is tough for me.

Is there a guide somewhere on how to get HTML5 to work with playmaker?

I'm just trying to piece this together from multiple sources...

Am I using the correct NACL file?

Hi, sorry to bump my own thread.

Are there resources on how to build a playmaker project for HTML5?

I still cannot find any sort of guide or tutorial.

Hi,

Are you on Unity 4 or 5?

on 4 you install the nacl version ( PlayMaker/Versions/PlayMakerNACL.unityPackage)

on 5, Nacl is not supported and you need to use WebGL:

OK so I'm sorry for not getting this but I really don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I've tried enabling webgl in both the playmaker.dll and the webgl playmaker.dll in the webgl folder while disabling the other.

If i can get it to build then very few of the scripts work and it throws this message after the first scene: "An exception has occured, but exception handling has been disabled in this build. If you are the developer of this content, enable exceptions in your project's WebGL player settings to be able to catch the exception or see the stack trace."

If I enable exceptions then it continues through the scenes but again, very few playmaker actions work (most noticeably "set property" actions).

Unity Web player and standalone work just fine.

Hi,

I have just done this the other day on u5.3, and it went without problem, however I am using 1.8, but I don't think it makes a difference.

Can you confirm which version of Unity you are using?

Bye,

 Jean
