Using actions to move

Ive been trying for 2 days now... i have a guitexture that changes states on touch and release, when its touched i have a simple move action with my character selected, everything i try works untill i try it with the touchscreen. its going to destroy my head. i dont know why i cant get simple forward and backward buttons!!!!
please help <3 its much appreciated.

Hi,

 Is it just this texture or are you totally unable to get any touch at all, not just on that guitexture, but in general?

 Could you make screenshots of the various fsm and state actions involved? that's help find the problem.

Screenshot below, its simple, 2 states, one state should activate movement the other state do nothing apart from wait for a touch to move to state 2.

Ok,

 Are you testing with Unity Remote? if not, get the unity remote app and test with it. You'll be able to debug way better like so.

will try to make a similar set up and get back to you.

Hey, i am using the unity remote, and the states respond to touch's.

lol no, my character wont respond, but the touch states all work, thats why im so confused.. :(
