Error on MissingMethodException

Hey guys, so i just installed playmaker and i'm having trouble. I know what's wrong, i just have no idea how to fix it. The problem is that the playmaker is trying to load a file that is from another user account. And i think it would need special privilege to do that. Is there any way i can change the user dir to mine?  Thanks in advance

Hi,

 It's really odd, we had the same issue last week with another member., I am not sure what's going on to be honest.

 can you confirm the following:

-- what Unity version
-- what playmaker version
-- Did you get PlayMaker it from the asset store of hutong games store?
-- you install PlayMaker on a fresh empty project right?
-- normally, Unity api updater must run with a dialog box asking to confirm this, can you double check it does?

Unity Version: 2017.1.0f3

Playmaker version: 1.8.5

Where from: asset store as far as i remember

Install on Fresh: Yes

Confirm of the dialog box: Yes

Confirm  that you got the window: Yes


It's weird because on the other account it worked normally, but i had to migrate to a different one and i think that's where the issue is...

 uhm.... what do you mean by account?

  do you have some anti viruses? maybe you should white list Unity.

The account i'm talking about is Windows account. It's trying to access the old one (Alex) user account and it's folders. The account is also password locked... So my guess is that Playmaker is for some reason trying to access the old folder but of course, unsuccessfully. The fix would be just to simply change somehow the target folder that would be on mine account, that's why I asked because i thought it's possible. If not then the only fix i see here is to fresh install the whole unity or even windows.

Hi,

 no no, the path to a different account can be ignored ( Alex is the author of PlayMaker and the issue is that it wants to find a file on Alex's computer, but obviously it's not on your computer...).

If you actually changed account on your windows machine and one is working and one isn't, can you try to copy the project that is working to the account where it fails and try to open it?
