will playmaker support the unity4's new animaions system?

as we can see right not , the new Mecanim system still need some coding,
Be I guess of course playmaker will support it , right??  :)

Hi,

 Indeed a lot of new things are present in unity 4 that will require new sets of actions. So make your self heard so that priority can be made.

For me I just want to build my animation tree. Without PlayMaker.
But I would like to send events to animation tree by PlayMaker.
Something like I have run state in PlayMaker and in Mecanim. The when I´m in run state in PlayMaker it sends an event to Mecanim saying go to run.

We'll definitely try to play nice with Mecanim but not sure exactly how it will work yet...

Well, i would certainly like to see integration with Playmaker... Unity's legacy animation system has been a bit troublesome for me and i'm taking some time to try and learn mecanim in the hopes that i'll be able to address that.

but, that being said, being able to wire it together with playmaker (such as telling it to set the various animation parameters) would certainly be something i'd like to see be a bit of a priority and given that one can easily (from what i've been reading, haven't tried it yet) transfer animation data from one character to another.

so, yeah, i'd certainly like to see it integrated also :P
