Getting Ads to work
« on: August 02, 2019, 12:54:53 PM »
Hi, I ma using this tutorial
I had it working in Unity, but it wouldn't work when I tested it on Android. Clicking the button would do nothing. I also went back to go through and see if I needed to change anything and now my ad wont even get "ready" when I use "Unity Ad is ready"

Any advice?

Hi.
For admob i remember that i had to register my device as a test device else it would not work.

Maybe unity ads has something similar?

Ok I'll check if theres an option in the settings. Btw, how did you get AdMob working? Everything I saw for it required me to purchase a plugin in order to integrate it

Was it worth paying for? Did you make your money back quickly?

And I still cant figure out what is wrong here. I ran through the tutorial again and made sure everything was up to date and set up, but it still wont set the ad to ready like it did before. Ugh this is so frustrating, I downloaded Playmaker for the ease of use and support, but so far any question/bug ive run into hasnt gotten a solution and I have to figure out other ways around my problem :(. I'll try a new project and see if that does anything

Yes and no.
Its well worth to use, as it does not only have unity ads.
it has many more things like : Game Services, in app purchase, notification, etc.
To earn this back depends totally up to your game / marketing.

I have looked to your previous posts if we forget or did not see your posts, but all your posts that i found has been answered.
So you statement is kind of unfair/untrue.
If we missed some questions post a link so we can answer them.

Have you set test mode etc on the unity dashboard?
Did you get Monetization 3.0 from asset store or did you use the package manager version?
Do you have the correct Id (be sure its the Android Id and not Apple id.)

What unity version are you using?
