Localization of Editor(Menus, Inspector, Windows)
« on: August 28, 2012, 01:05:27 PM »
Hello, I'm from Japan, and new to Playmaker and consider this tool as "the greatest" tool for the non-programming population like me :)

I wanted to know if you would consider Localization of the Editor. (Menus, Inspector, Windows)

Artists who can help me with game development lack English Skills, and since Playmaker is so easy to use, it'd be so helpful if the language barrier could be lowered as well.

Attached should give you an idea of what could rather easily be done.
(For the Eastern languages, there maybe other constraints may exist in Unity itself)

Can you give me your thoughts?

Hi, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner on this.

I just converted all strings in Playmaker to resx for easy localization.
There's a lot of strings!

I'm evaluating the Crowdin localization services, and I sent you an invite...

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I'm excited to hear that you've considered localization! I received the invitation, and will check out the Crowdin localization services.

Thanks a million!
