Creating a confetti

Hi all

I was trying to create a confetti shower with PM, and have been stuck for a while.
Basically, what I want is this:
Cloning several planes with colors and rolling them down basically killed the frame rate.

Is there a simple approach to this?

 You need to use particles for this. Unity has everything for this and it will be very efficient. Check the Shuriken documentation on your Unity help files.
