Ecosystem broswer not installing actions/packages

I saw there was already a thread that had been started last year about this issue, but it seems as though it was never resolved.

I recently upgraded my project to unity 6 and since then have been unable to install anything from the ecosystem browser, I am using the latest version of playmaker and ecosystem browser and reinstalled them just in case.

before upgrading it worked fine but now I can't install anything. it says
 "downloading information" for a bit then stops and logs this error
 
ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: bytes

is there a fix for this? or a workaround so that I can download arraymaker package manually for the time being without using ecosystem.

As a workaround for now, all ecosystem content is available on github (links on this page):

ArrayMaker has a package download link here, but I need to double check that it's up to date:

I'll ask Jean to investigate the ecosystem error.

 it's all good on my side, I tested on a fresh project to make sure I was not carrying over anything and everything works fine.

 can you tell me what you typed in the search field or what you did with the ecosystem browser that triggered this error?

Hi,
So I made a fresh project and reinstalled latest playmaker/ecosystem. using unity version 6000.0.45f1. I get the same thing happening.

Here is the full error message I'm getting.

Oh also sorry forgot to mention, I it happens with anything I search, in this case I just searched "bool" and clicked the first result.
And I just opened the ecosystem from the dropdown at the top of unity, playmaker/addons/ecosystem/ecosystem browser

I just want to write here, maybe it helps, I had this problem for years since I m using Playmaker.
I also wrote here in a different post, I also couldn't use Ecosystem because of that null error, I couldn't even download the ecosystem package from the website, everything was happening on a specific computer. For example using my phone, I could download the ecosystem package, but on the main computer I couldn't, it was showing an error page.

I finally managed to fix that null error. It s a problem with the computer, it's blocking github. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, open hosts file, search for github, delete that line, save it, restart the computer
That fixed for me.
