"Parenting" Game Objects stops their "Actions"

Hey, i've posted this earlier on the help forum though it doesn't look like anyone experienced this issue.

im using both playmaker and UtimateFirstPersonShooter (UFPS), i have 2 weapons and each have a 5 sec animation when used.

Through PM i've added an action to parent a light to a spawned GO clone of UFPS's components (that is the "gun") when the player presses "1".

problem is when i use a weapon and switch to the other one while the 5 sec light animation is happening, the animation stops off on the second it was cut off on. Leaving the "flash effect" permanently on.

its not just with animation, parenting back and forth interrupts every other action sent to the love child with constantly switching parents.
i cant seem to solve this issue, maybe im missing something, i'd gladly send you guys the file to check out.

 Have you not set up your anim to "stop on Exit" or something?
