Blank FSM Window[SOLVED]
« on: January 04, 2014, 10:20:40 PM »
Tonight when using Playmaker the strangest thing happened..
This:

All of my FSMs are blank. Not only on this project, but on every new project I start. When right-clicking into the FSM window I can right click, then add state and it switches to state window with a state name of 1. Then another right click will produce this:

Notice how the right-click menu is in the top left corner, no matter where I click in the FSM window. No states will show up, though on my "state 1" I can add actions (Not that it would help :P )

Any ideas?

EDIT:
I have read the troubleshooting page and followed it, along with an entire reinstall of Unity 4.3.21f.

Updating to the latest version should fix this.

As always, please BACKUP your project before importing updates!

As you can tell with my version numbers im a little hesitant to upgrade things :P
Is there something I could try before having to upgrade? I was happy enough with 1.6.2 and im in the middle of a project.

Hi,

When I am hesitant, I always duplicate my project into a temp folder and test there first to see if everything works properly, and then I can apply it to my current working project folder.

bye,

 Jean

I finally decided to upgrade. Wasn't easy for me, because I like to keep with things I've used before, but it works great now! And hey, I like the new blink state, it makes my life easier since I'm on a side project that needs a blinking ball. Thank you for your replies!
