Looking for Beginner Materials to Learn How to Use FSMs with C# Scripts

I have a basic understanding of C# scripting and now I am looking to do some simple things like get and set local and global FSM variables via script. I was wondering if there are any tutorials or How Tos that I can get to help me get started.
