Mimic the "Apply" button on a prefab in the scene.
« on: September 27, 2014, 06:03:41 PM »
Hello, I searched but could not find how to apply changes to a prefab from a prefab instance in the scene. I'm looking for something like this:
http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/342091/how-can-i-mimic-the-apply-button-in-editor-script.html

Can this be made into an action?

Hi,

unfortunatly no, because this script is only working in Editor, and PlayMaker can only execute actions when you play the scene.

however is it a case where you want to run the scene in Editor and apply the changes you made at runtime back to the prefab? If that's the case, you can simply use the Unity Interface to do this isn't it?

Bye,
