Ecosystem: RSS Feed to get the latest activities
« on: April 29, 2014, 07:26:18 AM »
Hello,

Sooo, since the amount of custom actions, samples, etc becomes overwhelming to maintain easily, AND follow easily ( many members expressed this, and I agree), I am starting a RSS feed where I will put PlayMaker related activities and news.

This means you won't have to hope not to miss anything, the news will come to you via your favorite Rss reader ( mine is netvibes :) )

http://feeds.feedburner.com/PlaymakerEcosystem

This rss feed will also be consumed automatically for you within the soon to come ecosystem unity browser and so even if you don't like/use rss feeds, you'll still be able to benefit from this, right within Unity!!

This rss is really not like this forum rss feed, ( which I follow ), it's really just about keeping track of new custom actions, new custom samples,  playmaker and addons updates, etc.

Very important note: since a lot of members and official asset publishers are contributing to PlayMaker, don't hesitate to pm me or drop me a note on these news, and I'll put it on this feed. I count on you, because I can't keep track of everything anymore, and that's a good thing!

Bye,

 Jean

Hello,

no matter what I search for or even if I leave it blank to list everything, EcoSystem stays blank and does NOT load anything.

Is this a bug ? I am using MacBook Pro.

Please help,

thanks

Hi,

Odd, I am using it everyday and it's fine.

-- Do you have errors in the Unity console
-- Are you pressing the "search" button and it switches to a label "searching..."
-- Are you connected to the internet?

 Bye,

 Jean

Indeed I am connected to the internet, I have no errors whatsoever in the console, none while I imported to asset either.

I do press the label but the "searching" part does not happen, I've played with the resolution and a 2nd screen on my new Mac perhaps it has something to do with that...

Hi,

so when you press "search" the "search" button remains and is not replaced by a simple label "searching..."?

 Bye,

 Jean

Hi,

Ok, I have enabled email subscriptiong for those who don't really consume Feeds online or on their mail app.

The direct link will offer now this option, and you can also simply click here to subscribe:

I tried, and it's very well done, you only receive emails when there are new contents.

 Bye,

 Jean
