« on: March 19, 2015, 06:58:02 PM »

Here is a game I did back for the gamejolt game jam.

Too Many Doors
Play it here:

Here is one Let's Play done for the game

Web player window blank. Took a look at the video instead. If that's the actual BGM for the game, sounds like MediEvil.

Weird, because a couple of months ago, I think muddy heights did work with it. I did find the second room with a interactive door confusing, given the fact that when I went through the process of going in and out of both directions to trigger a different room it's like the end is shortened and is a dead end.

By the way, is it normal for the game to go into another areas when I crawl to the right side of the room with the door at the end that automatically closes?

Maybe you could put some sort of a easter egg where the glitch is located. Got lost after following the door.

For walking in first person did you do that with fsms? What about adding collision to the doors? When I did that with opening them, it didn't collide with the player.

First person walking was done using ufps and the doors do have collidors, sometimes the door may open so fast that the collision isn't hit

Last time I did anything like that was in the first small prototype game I created last year. Maybe in my case the itween rotates speed was too fast, because like I said, I did have a box collider on it.

Very different.  I enjoyed it, although I am not much for puzzlers.

Does that symbol puzzle work flawlessly on your end?  Because when I get to the finishing point and go past the hallway, I enter a room that makes the player fall down to another room replicating it.

It's the puzzle where you have pictures of triangles and spheres. Both red and yellow.
