Does playmaker have a database feature?
« on: May 09, 2012, 02:59:51 AM »
So I'm trying to create a bit of an online RPG type deal. Say I want to make disturbing items, abilities etc how would I store that using playMaker? I'm scared that if I need to make 1,000s of items, stats and abilities that simple variables won't be enough or will get way over cluttered. Any suggestions?

hi,

Playmaker doesn't feature a database as is.

There are however a solution ( haven't tried it yet),

Has anyone looked at UniDDatabase? At 55 dollars this seems tempting.

The owner said "Playmaker has GetFsmString , SetFsmString, Somebody will have to modify that script or work with UniDDatabase. GetFsmStringFromDD, SetFsmStringToDD. Get it to work with the one line of code I have in the example video." in order to integrate it...I'm not sure what this means though. Ugh, I feel terribly noobish.
